The condition in which we live without noticing the collapse that surrounds us

Abyssosfera is a photographic and conceptual project that investigates a contemporary contradiction: humanity keeps living as usual while already immersed in the abyss.
The term joins two words:
- Abyssos: depth, the invisible abyss
- Sphere: a closed system, an inhabited world
Abyssosfera is therefore the condition in which we live without noticing the collapse that surrounds us.
This is not a peaceful exhibition.
It is a deliberate provocation, born to disturb sleeping consciences. An indictment of the indifferent comfort of those who, sheltered behind their own walls, accept a cruel peace that ignores the weak and crowns the strong.
We do not seek consent, but discomfort. Because only those who feel pain before the horror of migrations and of lives broken by war are still truly alive. In times of conflict, art that does not shake the soul is mere decoration: these works, instead, are necessity.
The accusation is aimed at those who know and stay silent, at those who choose the silence of apathy and shirk responsibility for what is real. This exhibition offers no solutions and does not console. It is a necessary cry that tears the veil of indifference.

Goals
Awakening consciences
The primary aim is not aesthetic but psychological: to strike those who prefer to ignore reality, shaking the comfort of those who live sheltered in their own isolation and selfish calculation.
Claiming discomfort
Seeking the viewer's pain to test whether they are still “alive inside”. Discomfort becomes the only measure of our capacity to remain human and sensitive in the face of migrations and the blood of sacrificed young people.
Condemning indifference
The work acts as an indictment not only of the executioners, but above all of those who look without seeing, who choose complicit silence or take refuge in abstract theories to avoid taking real responsibility.
Rejecting decorative art
Claiming an art that is necessity, not decoration. The aim is to reject consoling aesthetics in times of war, turning the image into a tool of struggle and brutal testimony.
Every word written is a breath taken from the abyss.
